Senior PHP Developer
RemoteA PHP developer is a web programmer who specializes in using PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor), a popular server-side scripting language. They are responsible for building dynamic websites, developing back-end components, connecting databases, creating APIs, and ensuring smooth integration with front-end services. PHP developers also handle tasks like debugging code, optimizing website performance, and working with various frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter. They often collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and project managers to deliver user-friendly, functional web applications.
Requirements & Responsibility
Job Functions:
- Expertise in PHP and familiarity with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter.
- Proficiency with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive frameworks like Bootstrap
or Tailwind. - Skilled in writing efficient SQL queries.
- Experience with REST APIs or web services.
- Proficient in version control systems like Git.
- Excellent communication, both spoken and written.
- A problem-solver with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong time-management skills, especially in remote settings.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field (preferred) or equivalent
experience. - 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
- Accountable, self-disciplined, and able to handle independent work.
